One thing that is often missed when we talk about visualizing and manifesting is the idea of being consistent. We are not going to get something manifested after seeing it once or twice. We have to keep at it, making sure that we consistently see something as being done on a regular basis. This practice can take a week, two weeks, a month, and so on. We don’t know how long something will take to manifest (that is God’s business because He is the One who will cause it to manifest) – our job is to keep praying, visualizing and having faith.
If We Find We Are Getting Weary
As humans, we can (and do) get weary when something takes time. I know I have felt that way many times and I can also get frustrated. When that happens, the solution is simple: ask God to renew your strength and your energies. Ask Him to give you the endurance you will need.
He can and He always answers this prayer.
In the past, He has answered this prayer for me in all of the following ways:
* He has shown me how much work others have put into it (putting my efforts into perspective)
* He has brought me communication from the other party to let me know where things stand and then, how much longer it is likely to be
* He has given me the patience to realize just how big my prayer is and therefore, that it will take a little more time because He is working on setting things up
Seeing as how I am not the most patient person, I can’t tell you how many times I have needed to pray for patience, for His strength and His insight.
The worst thing we can do is to just give up when He has put something important on our hearts because it is taking longer than we thought to put the work in and for it to materialize in our hearts.
Here is a sample prayer (if you wish to use it):
Jesus, I ask You to help me. I am feeling ___________, _______________ and _______________. You know this because You know everything. I want to thank You for all that You have already brought me and I ask You to give me the patience, and the strength I need to see this through. If possible, I would also ask You to shorten the waiting time so that I see my blessing manifest into my life sooner. I thank You in advance. In Jesus’ name. Amen
